When the new one arrived, after installing it, the booting became much more reliable (it failed to boot once in around 10-15 tries, in this case while the battery was charging, I had to take out the battery and put it back in to be able to boot), but the keyboard lights still don't work. In the meantime, during the weeks waiting for the new keyboard to arrive, the keyboard lights stopped working (power button, Caps Lock, Mute), so I truly thought the issue was limited to the keyboard. This happened a second time, I was only able to get the power button to work after leaving the computer alone for around an hour after shutdown.
